Tuning into Kids – Emotionally Intelligent Parenting for Children

Tuning into Kids - Emotionally Intelligent Parenting for Children

A 2 day program for practitioners, volunteers and parents of children aged 0-12. The Program can be tailored to meet the needs of older children and young people.

Brought to you by Children’s World Charity.

Would you like to learn how to:

· help children learn to manage their emotions?

· help children to understand their responses/behaviours linked to their emotions?

· teach children to deal with conflict and reduce conflict within your setting?

· be better at talking with children?

· be better at understanding children?

Tuning in to Kids shows you how to help the children you work with and care for to develop emotional intelligence.

Children with higher emotional intelligence:

· have greater success with making and keeping friends

· have better concentration at school

· are more able to calm down when upset or angry

· tend to have fewer childhood illnesses

Emotional intelligence may be a better predictor of academic and career success than IQ!

2 day programs run from 10am to 3pm each day but times can be tweaked to suit your needs). Prices start from £250.00 with the additional cost of £10.00 per participant for course resources (concessions may be available, please talk to us about how we can help you). For an informal chat please contact Angela Bolton on 01458 833693 or email at youthcommittee@childrensworldcharity.org
